Being the only supermarket in Amberley, Countdown dominates the market share for grocery supplies. The nearest competing supermarkets are in Kaikoura, 135km to the north and Woodend, 25km to the south.

Amberley Countdown serves a wide catchment area. Countdown’s annual turnover has continued to grow year on year since 2017.
