Alan and Lisa have individually and collectively had a huge amount of property transaction experience before assisting others with their property buying. They’ve lived in their clients’ shoes and know better than most the range of emotions that go with a property purchase. They have had their fair share of ‘unusual’ issues to deal with during due diligence, they’ve experienced plenty of tense, down to the wire unconditional deadlines. They’ve been dragged through the fine print of an Agreement for Sale & Purchase by many solicitors.


This is a key reason Erskine + Owen was founded. From our experience, credible and professional property buying advice and assistance was sorely lacking in New Zealand.

We search solely for you
We don’t work on behalf of sellers or developers – we don’t have existing stock of properties to sell. Nor are we searching for the same type of property for more than one client. Each client’s buying profile is very specific. We work solely for YOU.
Independent & objective
To keep things objective you can choose your own valuer, accountant, lawyer and building inspector. We do work with a good team that we can recommend.  But we do not earn referral fees for this.
We have team members who are solely devoted to researching capital growth drivers and sustainable growth areas. We know where to buy, what to buy, and where not to buy.
We have extensive property investment experience – and are continually investing ourselves.
We are licensed real estate agents under the REAA 2008. We are also qualified to give financial advice.
